Sea to the Sky

少女とネコの仕事は、西に沈んだ月を地球の裏側を通って東へ運び、再び空へ上げること。
そこには回復と癒しの世界が広がっている―
The girl and her cat carry the moon which set in the west, through the other side of the earth to the east and raise it up into the sky again. That is their work.
There is a world of restoration and healing.

私と荷物はネコに埋まる。
I and my luggage become one with my cat.

①ネコ目望遠鏡
夜も見える。とても遠くが見え、地球をひとまわりして、
自分の背中も見える。
Telescope with a lens that can see at night like a cat’s eye.

②恵みの木。食べものなど私に必要なものを実らせてくれる。
The tree that bears food, clothing and other things I need.

③どんな気候にも対応できる服。
Clothes for any climate

④月
Moon

⑤固形化した水。氷ではないので、冷たくはない。
魚も住める。
Solidified water

⑥過去や未来が見えるレンズ
Lens for the past and future

⑦透視ができるレンズ
Lens for clairvoyance

海の上に「天をめざす塔」がある。
私たちは海原の上を走ってそこへ向かう。
高い塔のてっぺんから、月を空へ戻すのだ。

There is "Tower aiming for the Heavens" on the sea.
We run on the sea to it.
From the high top of the tower, we return the moon to the sky.

①塔の頂上から月を空へ上げる。
We return the moon to the sky from the top of the tower.

②クジラ島が着く港
Port for Whale Islands

③塔の上部の街へ行く螺旋階段
Spiral staircase to the city of the tower.

④海の上を歩いて塔の下まで行ける
People can walk on the sea to the tower.
